Dimensions; 24 x 26cm

We have worked hard to make its environmental footprint as minimal as possible.

Linen, made from the flax plant, a strong plant best grown in northern europe it needs little or no fertilisers and very little in the way of extra water or pesticides as its happy in poor quality soil. Every part of the plant is used and what isn't needed for linen can be used to make linseed oil, paper, cattle feed and soap.

Therefore linen is almost naturally organic, completely biodegradable, recyclable and due to its natural absorbency, requires less dye than cotton.

All the fabric and trims have been sourced here in East London supporting local tradespeople and businesses and reducing carbon emissions on transportation. We also hope you will use it for as long as possible, repairing, patching and passing it on when you no longer need it.
